  • Canna edulis is a tall, fast-growing canna, often referred to as the edible canna. It is valued not only for its ornamental qualities but also for its very large, tropical-looking green leaves that add an exotic accent to the garden.

    The flowers are orange-red and appear in mid-summer. This plant is especially suitable for large garden beds, vegetable gardens, waterside plantings, or as a background plant. It is one of the tallest canna varieties.
