Crocus ‘Barr’s Purple’ is one of the most popular early spring crocuses (Crocus tommasinianus), known for its elegant deep purple flower, subtly lightened in the center with almost white tones. This variety fits beautifully in both naturalistic gardens and classic flower beds – especially when planted in groups.
The blooms appear very early – often by late February or early March – while most other plants are still dormant. They brighten the garden with vivid, contrasting colors and welcome spring into your yard.
Plant from September to November. Plant at a depth of three bulbs.
