Spanish bluebell (also known in older sources as Spanish scylla or Spanish hyacinth) is a perennial bulbous plant originating from the Iberian Peninsula and valued for its naturalistic beauty and easy care. In late spring, graceful inflorescences rise above the narrow leaves, dotted with deep blue bell-shaped flowers. This variety gives flower beds lightness and the natural atmosphere of forest plants. Spanish gladiolus easily naturalizes, so over time it forms increasingly abundant flowering thickets under trees, among shrubs or in naturalistic plantings, where it delights with increasingly impressive flowering every year. Suitable for growing under trees, in the shade.
Plant from September. Plant three bulbs deep.
