    Gėlių Gija's tip

The best time to plant peony roots is from October to November, when soil conditions are ideal for root establishment. They can also be planted in spring if necessary, although autumn planting usually results in stronger establishment. Plant them shallowly – the buds should be covered by only 3–5 cm of soil, as peonies planted too deeply may fail to flower.
