The tulip ‘Gintarinė Lietuva’ is a striking Triumph Group variety, glowing with warm amber-yellow and soft orange tones. It was created not only to please the eye but also to symbolically embody Lithuania’s national symbol – amber, long regarded as a gift of the sun and sea, and a sign of our nation's strength.

The tulip ‘Gintarinė Lietuva’ was bred in the Netherlands in cooperation with Lithuanian representatives and officially introduced in 2009 as a friendly symbol of cultural cooperation between Lithuania and the Netherlands. This variety was developed to mark the 25th anniversary of the Baltic Way and Lithuania's Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
